Notes from Principal Jones

“If parents want to give their children a gift, the best thing they can do is to teach their children to love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort, and keep on learning. That way, their children don’t have to be slaves of praise. They will have a lifelong way to build and repair their own confidence.”

-Carol S. Dweck

Dear Prescott Families,

Click on the Mission, Vision,  Belief, or Prescott Pledge heading at the bottom of the page and watch them come to life!

Please spend quality time with your child.  Parents are a child's first teacher, and children need security from home to be successful at school socially and academically.  Reading with your child and having conversations is a great way to build confidence and self-worth. We are excited about the success in the future for 2015-2016 at PSES!

If you are not able to arrive by 7:55, your child will need to eat breakfast prior to arrival. Breakfast carts will close at 7:55.  Please do not bring breakfast from home to eat in the classroom; the intention of the program is to provide food for those who may not have it otherwise. Thank you.

If school is dismissed early, 21st Century classes will be cancelled and students should be picked up at early dismissal time.  On late arrival days (example 10:00 a.m. days), there will be no morning 21st Century classes.
