Notes from Principal Jones
Dear Prescott South Families,
If you have internet access, please consider going to Code.org and playing computer-programming games with your child. We want our students to be familiar with the process of computer programming. The site is free and the activities are fun and challenging. Another online option to support math fluency is www.gregtangmath.com. This site offers many games that work on speed and problem solving. It is fun for children and adults! Check your child's classroom site for more fun online learning options.
We encourage students to wash their hands as often as possible to prevent illness. Refer to the handbook for regulations regarding illness and school attendance.
Your feedback is valued at Prescott Elementary. My contact information is provided to better serve your family.
At Prescott South Elementary, we look forward to a STEMtastic 2014!
