Parents Team Up with Cumberland Chrysler to Work for Kids Cookeville, TN —
On Friday, September 14th 2012, representatives from Chrysler brand and Cumberland Chrysler will join with parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids™ fundraiser in support of Prescott South Elementary School.
During Prescott South Elementary School’s Doggie Dash Event, parents and guests can earn a $10 contribution for the school from Chrysler by taking a brief test drive in one of Chrysler products, like the award winning 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Everyone is invited to stop in! Any licensed driver, age 18 or over, may drive and earn $10 for Prescott South Elementary. Cumberland Chrysler will provide automobiles and volunteers to answer questions and help out with the fundraising test drives. Driving times are from 9:00 AM to Noon. Everyone and anyone who is a licensed driver is welcome to stop in for a test drive to help earn a $10 donation from Chrysler for the school.
“We are so excited about this event. We hope to get as many people as we can to come out to the “Drive for the Kids Event,” said PSES PTO President, Rebecca Killpack. “We are so grateful to Cumberland Chrysler for their help in raising funds for our school. We are confident this, along with our Doggie Dash, will help push our fundraising goal over the top! “
In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids™ and became the first automotive manufacturer to directly support schools in the communities where the company does business. Since then, dealers like Cumberland Chrysler here in Cookeville, have worked with parents in communities across the country, and Chrysler has contributed over $4 million to local schools.
