When do children start learning the skills needed to be ready to read? AT BIRTH.


When is the right time to start working with a child on early literacy skills? NOW! It is never too early or too late.

  • April 3rd, 5:30p: Fun for Parents and Children Workshop
  • April 17th, 5:30p: Fun with Letters for Parents and Children Workshop
  • May 1st, 5:30p: Fun with Words for Parents and Children Workshop
  • May 15th, 5:30p: Fun with Science and Math for Parents and Children
FREE BOOKS will be provided to each participating family, courtesy of the Friends of the Putnam County Library via Cookeville Junior Women’s Club Grant.

Open to all parents and their children (ages birth—5 y.o.)
