Co
ngratulations to PSES's Kattie Nash!

Prescott South Elementary Teacher of the Year
Putnam County Elementary Teacher of the Year

Kattie Nash has been voted as both the Prescott South Elementary School Teacher of the Year AND the Putnam County Schools Elementary Teacher of the Year!

Ms. Nash has been teaching for six years, and has taught first grade at PSES for three years.   She enjoys teaching children through Project Based Learning and hands-on experiences.  She not only works hard in the classroom with her first graders, but also works to train other teachers in professional development sessions and in conferences around the state.  She has a Masters degree in Educational Technology, and is a pioneer in using technology with young children in the classroom.

Ms. Nash serves on several committees at PSES, and is the coordinator of CSI Family STEM Night and Career Day.  Ms. Nash is actively involved in Girl Scouts, her local church, and many other community events.  We are excited she is being recognized for her talents!  We are so blessed to have Putnam County’s best and brightest teachers here at PSES.
